Problems setting tonight's starters

Because it the per-game starters does not show having been pitched for last night games, I'm having a problem setting tonight's games. I dropped the pitcher that pitched the second of last night's games, leaving a blank for that game (already played). Now I can't set the pitcher's I want, because I can't leave the spot blank. But if I plug in one of my current starters into last night's game, it screws up the order I want tonight.

Any solutions?

BC:

Set the pitching rotation to conform with your past 4 starters, and put the new guy in the slot previously held by the guy you cut.

I could do that, but I want my new guy to pitch game 1 tonight. Instead I changed last night's starters. Now I'll find out if HAL will let me pitch Hershiser two games in a row.
