Bernie, Fix This!!!!!!!!!!!!

Instead of developing blogs, which I am not sure what real purpose they have, why can't you fix the game. :x
My frustration.
Barry Larkin is my SS
Toby Harrah is my 3B

Larkin gets hurt. Why does your game engine move Harrah to SS and put Treadway at 3B thus ruining my defense instead of just simply putting DeJesus at SS. This is the only reason I have DeJesus on my team, TO PLAY SS WHEN LARKIN GETS HURT!!!!!!

The point of the blog is to let you know that I'm working on this exact issue, but I guess it's indeed pointless if you don't read it...?

And yet when it continues to happen, as it did again last night, and that lovely e48 makes an error which leads to 2 unearned runs in a 4-2 loss, 0ne wonders if it really is a pressing issue and is being worked on.

This is just insane! Last night Jesse Barfield got hurt. Instead of putting Tony Scott in RF and maintaining a good defense, I end up with Mattingly in RF and Bob Melvin at 1st base.
And it's not as if this move can be rationalized because of offense either.

In the manager's option, couldn't there be a "backup" positional selection right below the defensive selections? It would be great to tie HAL's hands and make him put in our designed backups instead of his goofy selections.
