Injuries in 70s/80s Mystery Games

Postby The Biomechanical Man » Wed Dec 13, 2006 11:57 pm

Could someone help me out here? I can't remember.

In the 80s game, is a player's injury duration based upon 5-year-average plate-appearances or upon the mystery year selected? For example, if a player you have averaged 580 PA but the mystery card you are dealt is a year in which he had 615 PA, can he get injured for longer than 3 games?

Any hints whether the 70s game is the same answer as the 80s game?

Thanks.

It is based on the actual card....hence a clue to the card

Is it my imagination or are the injury reveals a little too easy???

In the "80's game you could narrow it down to two of the five years, but in the 70's there tends to be just ONE solid years you can zero in one as the year you have.

I have also noticed that the injury reveals in the 70's game tend to give away the year much more often than in the 80's game.
