There is no excuse for what he did. He is depressed, not insane. Depression is not the same. He is accountable for his actions.

It depresses me to see athletes doing thins like this. Spreewell, Moss, Rearden, and others are making a mockery of the system. They are able to get away with all of this because they can buy their way out of trouble.

He was a great pitcher. Who cares what happens to him, let him rot.

I met a sports agent once on a ski lift. I said, "You're job sounds pretty excting." He said, "Most of what I do is keep paternity suits out of the newspapers." God knows what we NEVER hear about.
