As KL says, I wouldn't complain too much about Horner. His HR and walks are good, giving you a .823 OPS. His usual BA is .260 or better, so if you're patient that will probably come up.
Candy has been very good for me in some years. On three current teams he's a combined 25-12 for me--seasons or partial seasons of 3-0; 11-4; 11-8. So you could decide to hang on to him. But if you're ready to dump him--which might be a good idea, since you seem to need cash for hitting-- you could pick up a cheaper SP (somebody like Hass, Proly, Horton?).
In general, I think that your offense needs attention. Your proportion of cash spent on hitting relative to pitching is very low. No wonder you're not scoring many runs. Look at who is hitting for you and who is not hitting and try and get help in the areas of non-productivity.....Guillen is killing you offensively, for example. Maybe use the Candy cash to get a Roy Smalley/Franco-type SS while picking up a cheap RH hitting OF to platoon with Sheridan or Dykstra--both weak vs LHP? Anyway, you need to score more runs, and Horner is not your main problem....
