Most of the mystery die-hard players are keeping their fingers crossed for another game of this type.
As far as I know there have been no plans but us die-hards have been trying to recruit new people like yourself for quite some time. My reason for recruiting to the mystery format is so that TSN will listen to our dollars in order to evoke action. If the dollars speak, then I think new formats are sure to follow.
The biggest formats (and largest revenue) for TSN happen to be the single season formats. Problem is that the shelf life for the single season products is right around 18 months or so. Once the cards come out for the next season, the previous season grinds itelf to a slow halt.
The shelf life of the 80's game has been considerably longer. Though it's a niche type of market since the uncertainty factor either makes you a lover of the game or a hater. Those that love it are very loyal though.
Dollars mean a lot in the end so the larger the player pool in the 80's game, the better the future looks for other mystery formats.
