coneheads

Maybe I didn't know how to navigate the draft properly. I was searching for David Cone and I couldn't find him. I know he had some pretty good years with the mets in the 80's...any help??

You'll have to ask SOM as they gave the players to TSN for this game.

Maybe they will add some new players to the 80's game like Maddux and Cone when they upgrade the mystery card games which should happen this year......I hope! :D

Is this wishful thinking or did you hear this from Bernie or an inside source? If so what are some details

I have no precise info. Bernie has made the statement that upgrading the mystery card games is on his "things to do" list. Now if that means next on the list or way down there, who knows?

There was a discussion about which upgrades we'd like to see on the 70's board a little while back.

Upgrade the 80's

I agree that Cone and Maddux should be included in the 80's game.

While we're at it, Tom Seaver should be included in the 80's game. He didn't retire until after the 1986 season and put up decent numbers in 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984 & 1985. He certainly was an effective pitcher for the Reds and White Sox in the 80's. If that's not good enough, as has been done with many other players, Strato could reach back into the the 70's and give him a couple of cards from his heyday. More pitching is always appreciated.
