Can My Team Succeed With Julio Franco At Short?

Postby matthewfarmer » Thu Aug 06, 2009 12:27 pm

I have this Royals Stadium team that I attempted to build around mainly pitching and defense:

I missed out on Ozzie Smith; Gagne, Bowa and Dunston are available on waivers. Should I go with one of these waiver shortstops or just roll with Franco? I am tempted to roll with Franco just to see what happens. I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

personally I like to use Bowa on just about every team no matter what park I'm in. His defense is valuable and he's cheap enough to allow you to spend money elsewhere. He has speed and he can bunt and hit & run.

Go to statistics, open your team and copy/paste the address with your ID number.

It looks like you got Templeton, which is the best choice available.

Good Luck! You are in my league and it looks pretty tough!

Yes I did switch to Templeton. The more I thought about it, the more I did not like the 3 at shortstop. Good luck to you as well!
