off to the Finals, but WTF????

I got very lucky with this team as they stunk all season against RHP. In the first round they faced nothing but righties . Here's the odd thing. I finished the season with 85 wins. The team I face in the Finals had 91 wins. Imagine my suprise when looking at the finals schedule and seeing that I have home field advantage. I expect this will be rectified but all in all it has been a strange season.

that is because, while the Travelers are listed above the Husbands in the standings, the Husbands won the tiebreaker and were the division champion. As a result, the Travelers are the wild card team, which is why you have home field advantage.

You may have only had 85 wins this year, but your team always seemed to come through in the clutch. You beat my son Noah's team by two runs in the last game of the season to make the playoffs and then Reuschel comes through with the two hit shutout over Clemens. Very impressive.

thanks for the explanation Hak. I never even thought of the division winner v wildcard scenario . I just looked at winning records.
