Tournaments are about winning championships, but they are about consistentcy throughout as well. To make the final league, you really have to do both. I was #13 last year(I think I was one point short), mostly due to my failure to win in the playoffs. I was a couple of outs away from closing out a finals and lost, then I needed to make a finals and didn't. I believe all my teams were over .500. Your post sounds like ridiculous sour grapes and whining. If you want to make the finals, you have to be consistently good throughout and have at least some playoff success. Seems like a reasonable standard to me.
