I made a mistake on my last pick, forgot to pick a stadium.

I may have screwed up by not drafting enough RP only players. I will need to clear this up in waivers.

I'm in, but I had a couple problems and no time to bring it to discussion.

I don't always play "the 70's" so I had no idea of the RP compliant rule either. I thought I had two (even though you need 3), but my second one was Busby.

While he was listed on the draft board as a R3 he is in fact a S7.

So I had to pick up 2 guys who are R3 types to make it work.

I am going to have infrequent contact for the next few days. Since I couldn't find anything in the rules about the timing for picking up free agents, and the draft format is frenzy, I went ahead and picked free agents. Maybe it is still the death of Gary Coleman that has me confused and I missed the ruling.

That is very unfair for me to have first pick of all the free agents. Certainly not in the spirit of feisty fair play that was epitomized by the league's namesake. So, I will drop players and abide by league rules, the ruling of the commish, or vote of players; whatever. I didn't want to get shut out myself but, as I said, it isn't fair that I take 4 free agents without anyone else getting a shot.

So, let me know and when I check back in, I'll go along with the ruling, drop free agents or whatever is decided.

Three Pure Relievers

Postby kenhutchings » Sat Jun 05, 2010 9:46 am

I got bushwhacked by that rule also. Picked up Bart Johnson as a free agent (why is he a pure reliever??!!). Currently have twenty five players; I'll drop one before the season starts. Just don't know who I want to drop at the moment.

I was unaware of that rule too, but luckily came out ok. Make your teams work through free agency, being sure to get to 24 players by opening day. If anyone runs into problems let me know.
