Triple Decade Lg #2 1976 draft - abandoned

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

I think that is a wrap everybody.

I don't think there is enough enthusiasm amongst the remaining members to try and replace three managers.

I'll be concentrating on the 1988 league and heading into the 1990's as well.

Good luck to the 1975 playoff bound teams.

I am feeling terrible. Real life interfered in a big way , so I couldn"t find time to check in. Now coming back on I see this league abandoned :x

If only I knew that I had tried to get on despite all problems showing uo the last few days. Again, I am feeling terrrible and somewhat guilty.

BigA, I wouldn't feel responsible for the demise of this league. I think its fate was sealed before whatever came up for you. I know I was thinking of dropping out before I made my pick but hesitated. This league has never had a lot of momentum for some reason.

No need for tears fellows, no need for recriminations. Fun while it lasted.

Unlike the other league where I am 0 for 15, I was doing quite well in this one and even had a championship. It's like having a WHA AVCO World Trophy but no NHL Stanley Cup.

However I believe YF's lack of fun was mainly derived from the slow and slower time between seasons due to slow rookie picks and slow loading. This was getting worse each and every season. I think there were some managers who either had lost interest or just didn't have time for Strat any longer.

That is half of it. The other half is the lack of changes you can do to fix your team. I know that is part of the keeper deal, but when all the leagues you're in are this way what's the point. There are only some many strat dollars and they can be spent in a wiser fashion

Sorry to be the party pooper here but i couldn't do 25 more seasons.

Good luck to all in your strat endeavors
