League not filling and merging auto leagues

Hey, my friend started an 80's league, I joined . . . my brother is waiting to join, so he won't be in our division, there's supposedly one other person going to add soon . . . but after two weeks we're still at two teams. My friend even set our league to an auto league so it would fill, but it's looking like there are six other TSN***** leagues out there, so presumably are all auto leagues and will fill first. So . . . how often do auto leagues get merged? I'm worried we'll get put into a fuller league and possibly separated . . . at the same time, I wish it were more simple to join a different division. It's looking both my brother and my friend's brother are waiting to join so they won't end up playing all their games against us. Argh! I don't want an exodus to our league to prevent our brothers from playing together with us, either!

All of those Auto Leagues are started by Woody so no chance of merging the leagues. I have never seen leagues merged and I've been around quite awhile.
