R. Henderson

Injury revealed Ricky Henderson is '92, with injury rolls on the 4 (vs. LHP) and 10 (vs. RHP).

It's early in the year, so there are replacements. I'm in Coors. Oh, and he's currently injured for 13 more games.

Is the card with keeping?

Tough call, the games lost will hurt, where is he in you lineup? Is the lineup built around him or is he batting 2nd or 5th? If he's not your lead off, #3, or cleanup hitter I'd try to trade him. Another manager could want him with the injury risk and you could get better value back than waiver wire.

Obviously, I didn't spend much on pitching. (It's Coors, after all.)

He's a leadoff hitter, but not necessarily irreplaceable.

Well, I'd find a cheaper option and spend more on pitching. But I am really bad in the 80's mystery game and only played the 90's once, better in the 70's.

Spend 4 mil on a reliable leadoff hitter, LF-2 or better that has a R Bal

There are more experienced players on the message board, so wait for more people to chime in.

It's a toss up really. It's certainly a card worth keeping, but you're taking a risk every time he bats.
I'm having some pretty good luck with McGwire 95, who has the same injury rating as Henderson. I decided to keep him, and through 144 games, he has played in 124 of them. Granted, it's a 100 mil league, so I was able to afford the chance, but if you can get that percentage of games played out of Henderson, he'd certainly be worth keeping.
However, I do tend to shy away from injury risks. If it was me, in an 80 million league, I would get rid of him and look for someone else. It's still early and there should be plenty of players out there.

Needed some cash to do some moves, so Ricky had to go. Oh well.
