I have created a new league in the hopes that there is interest in expanding the idea to a 3 league series: 1 season each for the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The 1st season would be in the 70s, and the created league is called Try, Try Again.
This is a league for managers who, like me, are below .500 for their BTT 70s-90s career. If there is enough interest in expanding this concept to a series, I would like to have each manager play each season in a different ballpark, with no duplicate ballparks in any 1 season. I would also like to see each manager in a different division for each season, so that we would be competing against different divisional opponents each time.
Because I am not a very good administrator, and more so because I do not have home internet right now and am therefore not online every day, I would like to get this started, and then have someone else assist with spreading the password around so this can get going more quickly. I will start a signup sheet and pick a stadium, but I am very open to changing the guidelines for this idea depending on the feedback. For right now, I have the league set at $80 mill, standard waivers, DH, all of which I think would accelerate interest. The individual stadium idea can stay or go depending on what people want.
Any takers?
