Now that I have your attention...
I've seen a post for a 60M league. Think it wold be nice to do that with a pitcher-batting league. Maybe we should add a few wrinkles:
Rules:
-Full rosters (12 pitchers, 17 hitters).
-Rosters can be cut to 11-15 (if desired) after game 54
-Rosters can be trimmed to 10-13 (if desired) after game 81
-First round picks are conducted live (everyone gets to protect this one "franchise" player; the "franchise player" CANNOT be dropped before game 81).
-NO CALIFORNIA BASEBALL. Also, no Kingdome, no Metrodome. NO DOMES! Other than that, Ball parks are unique, and drafted second round, in reverse order of first round (player draft). Divisions are determined by homepark. Disputes over divisions will be ruled over through discussion, general consent, or the Uru hammer (which I shall wield).
-Each team must carry a "Federal connection," which, in this case, is a single player from either Baltimore (closest franchise to D.C., I assume) or Texas (formerly the senators, weren't they? Correct me if I'm wrong). Players can be exchanged, but must always carry one (the "Federal" player need only have played for either team one YR on his cards).
I had thought of a bunch of other wrinkles, but I think the use of low-payroll, no DH, full rosters, franchise player, and "federal connection" makes it enough of a challenge.
