Which card? (How many ABs/IPs?)

I'm through 21 games now, and I'm wondering at what point I should start to decide which guys to drop or keep. Other managers have already made moves, but some guys to me seem to be still hiding which card they are using. Dewey has an OPS of .642; his worst year was .773. He has 69 Plate appearances so far. So he's obviously slumping, but I have no idea what year he is.

Here is one guy in particular I am looking at:
George Foster 72 AB .222 AVG .417 SLG .291 OB .708 OPS 3 HR
(Worst year 601 AB .241 AVG .419 SLG .286 OB .705 OPS 28 HR)

As you can see, his stats are lining up well with this year which makes me want tio drop him . . . yet I know Dewey is just slumping. I have Bo Jackson who is doing well, and it's hard to find playing time for Foster and Jackson both.

Also, how many IP for pitchers? I have one reliever who is doing poorly, but only has 10 IP to judge from. So . . . when do you guys usually start to make decisions on guys to cut?

The word on the street is 100 AB and 50 IP for starters. BB and 2B are good indicaters.

nevertheless, you are probably safe dropping Foster at this point. Close enough to same stats as worst year in every category.

Its harder to tell when a player is hitting .100 after 60 ABs. HE is obviuosly slumping so much it is hard to tell which year he is in. look for things like triples and BB to K ratio.
