I'd have to agree. I always wondered how he kept his hat on. I remember watching him play against the Twins in the '70s. He was fun. He responded to us kids sitting out in left field. He'd wave, laugh and just have a good time. He'd chase the pigeons around on the field. It was amazing that he actually caught any fly balls since he didn't seem to pay very much attention to what was going on during the game.

BTW, if you don't read Bruce Markusen, you're missing some good stuff. He works for the BB hall of fame and has written some GREAT books.
