One question, can the AL player be traded for an NL player or do we need to keep the balance of 1 AL hitter & pitcher on the team?

My one concern is that with the limited NL player pool we'll all end up with lots of AL players in the AD and the post-waiver frenzy will be especially chaotic and reward those at the computer at the right time. How about drafting our teams, at least for a few rounds?

no. gotta keep the balance....

And another note:DURING AUTO DRAFT,THERE WILL OBVIOUSLY BE AMERICAN PLAYERS SUBSTITUTED FOR OUR NATIONAL LEAGUE PLAYERS ALREADY TAKEN BY OTHER TEAMS.
THESE AMERICAN LEAGUE PLAYERS WILL SIMPLY BE DROPPED DURING OUR FREE AGENT FRENZY AND REPLACED BY PROBABLY LESS DESIRABLE NATIONAL LEAGUERS....

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? JUST WANNA GET EVERYTHING WORKED OUT BEFORE THE DRAFTING BEGINS.......

LORENZOS QUESTIONS

Postby roofinghorse1 » Sun Feb 05, 2006 10:40 am

NM DOES HAVE A PIC 3 BUT IT DOESN,T LOOK LIKE IT ON A SUNDAY.

I "THINK" A DRAFT WOULD SLOW DOWN THE LEAGUE".WE SHOULD JUST TRY TO AGREE ON A DAY THAT THE FRENZY SHOULD RUN AND WORK THAT IN.....

ANY OTHER THOUGHTS ON THIS MATTER?

Earlier you'd asked about whether to go with NL players only or all players. How about all players with at least 2 (instead of 3) NL years?Jake? LM? Either way, should be fun. Thanks for putting this together, Horse.

Just looked at putting a NL only (except for 1 AL pitcher and hitter) team together. It definitely will be challenging particularly when you factor in the uncertainty of the 80's cards. This format has really piqued my interest now, and may be worth a try.

In any case, I'm game either way.
