70s/80s Players Championship: Final 12 Projections

I'll be stumbling into the F12. I've definitely slumped since my Rd1 & 2 teams, even outside this tourney.

Your in pillpop. I'm out and hailedog is in by winning 30 of 42 to close it out and beat me by one game. dezman and yellowdog are cheering against durantjerry winning the first round of the playoffs and ebbets winning a title.

Despite what the pundits had to say I'm going out on a limb and predicting you're in Pillpop. Notice how I'm going out on a limb to analyze this after all the leagues have finished regular season play :D .

It looks like djkalle was right on the money predicting 362 points are necessary to guarantee making the playoffs. The only managers on the bubble are DEZman and Yellow Dog. DurantJerry needs to win round 1 of the playoffs and Ebbets needs a title. If both of them do so then DEZman and Yellow Dog will tie for 12th and who knows what the tie-breaker is.

I don't know how the league playoffs that are under way are going but Ggrover, Hallerose, Great Unwashed are in already. Jack is out and Bally, Boog, jettblack, Brandon, LM, ToiSan, and Good Doc can't get to 361 points. In league 4 which is just starting Moody, and hailedog are already in. Leaving Ebbets and Durant.

Now if Bernie is withholding points or I'm reading the standings, or anything else wrong which wouldn't be unusual, then I don't know where anyone stands.

Kalle appears to be correct. 362 is in, 361 is the bubble. It looks like the first 3 finals all ended in sweeps last night. Only 1 playoff left. Moodywoody and HaileDog are already in, while durantjerry needs a final and ebbets needs a championship. Since durant and ebbets do not play each other, they both could still be in or out. The 2 bubble boys are dezman and yellowdog, with I think yellowdog the first off since he has no championships. I think my vote is for 80s live ($80M) draft. Others?

I vote for 80s live 80 million also. I don't know if Jablowmi wanted to scrap the live draft because of problems with the last draft. It may have just been for next year's tourney.

I've got to hand it to Moodywoody. I think he was in the bottom 5 after two events, and he came screaming back into the top 12 with 2 great teams. The final league will not be deprived of the defending champ.
