OK, who is making me look like a lousy lead off man? We have 10 loaded, lets get #11. C'mon

Jayhawk, the missing man with 2 names is Visick or socalchiro. He is in our 70s league (Polyester Suits). On his bio, he states that he doesn't wear underwear. So, do you really expect a guy who doesn't wear underwear under his polyester suits to be ready for the next round? LMBombers will close you out.

On Saturday, the closers can close at their convenience. If you have a problem with waivers Monday, check with your closer!

Enjoy your new team and enjoy the weekend.

I just closed League 4--which looks like a very tough league.

Hold onto your hats, folks. This could be a [i:186371b33f]wild[/i:186371b33f] ride! :D

visick is waiting for a credit transfer. I don't know if that will happen on weekends, so JayHawk may have to wait a little longer.

I have the toughest league by reputation, but my team is playable without waivers. I need to have some luck with my first 2 teams slumping into garbage time.

My league looks pretty tough as well, and I just had one of my worst drafts ever, getting just 11 of my 25 drafted players.

On top of that, I've only got the 2nd waiver pick, not the 1st.

My team is currently graced with the presence of such 70s luminaries as Bill Butler, Ed Rodriguez, Ray Corbin, Dale Murray, John Stearns, Glenn Borgmann, and Tony Muser, plus a few decent hand-me-downs.

The eight waiver slots at 5PM are not going to even dent the surface of my transactional requirements, but that should make for an interesting frenzy....Somehow, I'll manage. :)

I got 12 of my 15 requested hitters, and my 5 starting pitchers plus 3 relievers. Of course, I didn't select the top players but got Bonds, Parker, Reggie Smith, Howard and Ferguson, so that is a good start.

In my last 70s, I got a nice group of players but lost 9 starters to their worst year and started 6-24.

So, it is not who you get, but who you end up with.
