Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

[quote:1dbe39922e="Toi_San"]I'm not sure that's going to be a problem. After all, we're talking about the 25th best SP, and there would probably be some debate as to who that would be, especially given the 80s mystery card format. (Some players, I think, would gamble on a big year, while others would look for consistency among the cards.) Plus, I would also think that a RP or two would also be listed high on the draft card, since we're only drafting 1 RP.[/quote:1dbe39922e]

I think the extra hitting position would be more valuable to the person that picks first in that round than a 3rd SP.

However since we will theoretically already have all of our starting hitters, outside of platoons, I would agree that the AD cards would be heavy on pitching for the first several rounds. Everybody will be in the same boat though.

[quote:7b69a83954]We'd draft all 9 positions, 2 starters, 1 reliever.[/quote:7b69a83954]

Position drafts usually contain 8 position players, 2 SP, 1 RP and a WC slot. Each owner may only select their WC pick once during the draft, and the WC pick can only be taken once by any owner in any given round. Some will use the WC pick for an extra hitter and some will use it for a pitcher. To each their own.

Toisan, while we wait, why don't you jump in on the Panzer Ace 2000+ league? We need 2.
