I understand the impatience...and the commish rules, but rarely have we moved past a first round choice this quickly (waiting 3 plus days for pick #6 etc...is not unheard of, so to move past #1 is a big step. We should all remember he's got a lot on his plate.

Al you are right, but games are suppose to be fun, or why play, and this is becoming less fun over time for me. Maybe I should have exited a few seasons ago and let someone more dedicated have my slot.

I agree with YF. We have been set on go since Saturday and still not one pick in what will likely be a 48 pick four round draft.

I do feel bad for jsam if real life things are getting in the way but it sure is not much fun for the rest of us. This particular league seems to get more frustrating each season. I think I'm going to join a 70's autodraft league tonight.

If YF bails I'm gone too. I'll hang on until then.

YountFan, you do such an unbelievably terrific job as commish especially with all of the post season stat reports it would be a sad day if you ever decided to pack it in.

I think the frustrating thing about this specific wait is he has checked in since the draft order went up. We aren't in a situation where he doesn't know the draft is started and hasn't been thinking about it. He had the first post after the draft order post. That was 4 days ago. He has to know we are all twiddeling our thumbs waiting for his pick.

this discussion is going in the wrong direction. We all know that jsam and his family had to endure some tough times (to say the least) lately. So I understand if he isn't able right now to join us. If he hasn't shown up on the weekend, we should think about replacing him temporarely, we should not throw out any exit thoughts.
