It depends on which URL you visited. Did you go to my old site or my new one? IF you went to the old league page then, yes, I deleted it from that server. However, this is the server you should be pointing to below.

Here is the start point for the Epic League page:

I just opened the site from my work desktop and it appears to working ok? Check and see with this hyperlink and let me know.

Dynamic Trading is ACTIVE

Postby bjs73 » Fri Aug 25, 2006 10:16 pm

I've got the trading part of the epic league done. Please check the league email for your personal password to get logged in.

In a nutshell, when you log in, your roster will pop up with hyperlinks for trading your players to the right side of their salary listing.

Click the link and you will be taken to a form to select the manager you are dropping your player to. Once you submit the trade, you will be redirected back to your roster-trade page.

If anyone has any problems with the drop down select boxes that I used for the managers' names, let me know. It works fine in IExplorer 6.0 and since it is an html function, I didn't anticipate any compatibility issues but you never know I guess.

Gracias,

Blockbuster Trade

Postby bjs73 » Wed Sep 06, 2006 7:57 pm

bjs73(AP)

GM Simpson announced a blockbuster trade between the Keepers and the
Has to Go team. Here are the details:

Keepers send:

C. Fisk, M. Scott, H. Baines, and B. Russell

for

T. Raines, M. Norris, J. Niekro, C. Swan, and T. Pena

Asked to comment, Simpson said, "Raines was the obvious target of this
deal. He's easily a 1st round draft pick year in and year out. Raines will
be a fixture in LF for us while Ricky will move to full time duties in CF.
We get a switch hitting LF that can complement Ricky Henderson and can
provide another opportunity to score 100 runs per season by making
things happen with his OBP and speed.

We felt that with our most recent acquisitions in the past 2 seasons that
the time was right to try and bring balance to the bottom line with our
starting rotation. The anchors of the staff will continue to be Higuera and
Sutton and then we'll look to get more out of the rest of the bunch in
Black, Gullickson, Niekro, Swan, Leal, Heaton, and O'Neil.

We're trading for the future and the future looks nice but season 3 looks
like it is in the crapper."

BJS

I'm trying to process the trade I completed with UJ, but I get an "Exception error" when I try to log in. Any idea what's wrong?

I think I figured it out BC.

The code that I wrote doesn't like a space between BC AND Manager. So, it only passes a partial string.

I noticed that jerry dropped the players to your roster but the manager name was truncated to BC instead of BC Manager. Funny thing is that I had the same problem at work yesterday doing the same thing. LOL

I couldn't figure out why it was truncating my information.

I think I can fix this at work today. I've got to run but I'll give a heads up when I finish.
