Second straight live draft with the 12th pick. Oh well, I get first dibs on a stadium.

I probably should take a look at the draft list for 1980/1, but I'll take Royals Stadium.

3. AdamKatz -NY - 067

player pool

Postby LMBombers » Fri Sep 29, 2006 9:33 am

All you have to do is to sort the spreadsheet by FIRST YEAR. You include everyone that has a year of 1981 or before. Sort the rest of the players by BUY FOR (salary) and keep all the .75 players too. Thats the player pool for this season!

Hmmm...we DO need a name, don't we?

How about the "Federal League?" That's a blast from the past.

Suggestions?

rutkap is up for stadium draft

Postby honestiago1 » Fri Sep 29, 2006 4:51 pm

I am sending my stadium picks by proxy to horse, in case I am out of pocket (which I probably will be tonight). (hope that's okay, I thought using the very last person would be the best thing).

Draft

Postby honestiago1 » Fri Sep 29, 2006 5:45 pm

If draft GM LM agrees, I propose we start the actual draft this Sunday. LM: does this sound okay with you? If so, go ahead and designate the time and method.

I gotta go, guys -- big date tonight. :D

Live Draft question &tc.

Postby JIMDAKE » Fri Sep 29, 2006 5:54 pm

Shall we sequence the league names? E.g., Federal League 81...Federal League 82...?

Also, I've never done a live draft on PennGray's site before (& guessing jjd hasn't either). What do we need to do?

2nd pick overall? Geez, I've never even been that high in waivers! (Makes the 2nd pick at #23 more interesting). Now, to come up with a team name that starts with....Connecticut???? (That would be a no-brainer if I were a UConn fan...but I'm not).

We can start the draft anytime you want to. I thought you wanted to finish the stadium draft first and so far we only have one stadium selected so far.

I have never set up a draft on penn's site before but I can try if you want. If someone else has experience with this by all means step forward and help. Any new people to penn's site will be given a generic password to begin with which you can change once you get in. I think the password for new users is "test" but I'm not sure.

Our other option would be to draft on these boards. The benefit of penn's site is that you can set up proxies to pick for you if you are away. If we draft on this site we have to wait for each successive person to check in and pick before moving on. Are there any preferences to penn's site or this one?
