Send a PM or give a shout out to Rob, Doc. He plays the CD version on line and is loving it.

12th Manager

I also hope Rob returns. He invited me into this league and I'm having a ball with it. He's helped me a lot with the game. Really hoping we can play out this decade and move into the '80s (if anyone is interested). But meantime here we are. Absent Rob, do we have any leads. I might have an idea. Veteran Strato player but would be a raw rookie to the online game. Fred, lemme know if I should pursue it. -- MK

Fred has reasoned with me and quickly convinced me that my issues with TSN and Bernie should not hang you guys out to dry. My bad. I am loading my team shortly and will leave it to HAL to manage. I won't be checking the team so any trade offers will go without being responded to.

If I get a player that I shouldn't in the auto-draft I ask Fred to email me at my yahoo account since I won't be on the site.

Sorry to delay the league.

Doc, here is a link to a page describing the CDROM game with screen prints and the online leagues I have joined.

I've loaded in the Central. One more team to go before the West can load.

Rob, thanks for loading a team. We all greatly appreciate you doing this. I only wish you would stay to manage the team as well. It is always great having you in a league, and getting to know you was one of the best things about SOM. I will shoot you an email if there are any issues with your roster, and will look into joining you on cd-rom.

Rob jumping into the Central has altered the prior matchups, he used to be in the West. I should be in tonight with my team.

I've heard back from my guy. May be some interest but not certain yet. Will keep posted. Meantime, continue to look.

Manager Search

Postby MARKKUMMERER » Mon Oct 26, 2009 3:02 pm

The friend I mentioned could have some interest just would not drink the kool-aid. So, we continue to search. Are we really going to let HAL manage Rob's team? Is everyone aware of the potential for embarrassment?
