I ended up with a good draft for once. Im not anywhere near the top of the waiver wires   IM DOOMED!!!!

Looks like Panzer will win the Rickey prize ;)

Matingly and Rickey on the FA is too funny....no one wanted to waste a spot drafting them because we you all thought you wouldnt get them.

That's why I drafted Yount. I figured everyone else would probably give up on even trying. Plus it's a pain because SS isn't his primary position.

I've never succeed in drafting him before, and had given up like everyone else, but Yount was an FA in my last two leagues, so I figured a super-vet league might actually be the best place to land him.

I had Yount first! I keep banging my head against the wall, it's fun.

I'm very pleased with my draft. I got my first four picks -- Brett, Raines, Butler and Soto. Also got my 1's up the middle with Doran and Burleson.

Just as surprising as Mattingly and Rickey on the FA wires is the SP's on the wire: Mike Scott, Sutton, Higuera, Valenzuela, Blyleven

should be a fun league. First time I've ever put Brett on my draft card; surprised I actually got him !!

I have played quite a few leagues, but HAL gave me some new players to work with that I have not had in the past. They may not survive the first cut though.

Good luck to all. 8)

Sykes squashed me good. Otherwise I'm fairly ok with my position player draft.

I was this --><--- close to listing Mattingly instead of W. Clark on my card but I didn't feel I ranked my 1B high enough to get him. And now all I can do is shake my head in disbelief.

I did list Clemens last only to get Hershiser, not a bad replacement :D
Add him to the list of pitchers not drafted.

It looks like we're playing a $60M league here, there are so many guys with over $10M in spare cash going into the waiver draft tomorrow. What's up with that?
