Is there any interest in an 80s auction league?

I was expecting someone to torpedo my bid on Orel.

Remind me to return the favour, Bigmahon! :x

I'm going to Brazil now and will not check in for 24 hrs or so. Sean has instructions from me and will acting as my proxy.

As much as I like Yount...40 m to get him sounds really high

My instructions from Yount Fan were to bid Al Newman, Al's brother Jeff Newman, and Ken Schrom for him with initial bids of $30 mill each !!

I'm glad he trusts me with his team!!

Boy. Brett Butler would love to get paid 20m for a season eh?

Gotta love this draft format. We all go a little bit crazy at times.

Chief, We'll get you the next time, since by my count we have only four repeat auction drafters this go round, and I think it will probably prove to be a very exciting format and a fave of a lot of people.

OK, I am just checking in today. Had a hectic time at the in-laws. I guess I miss all the reindeer games. I will look forward to being in the next draft.

Penn, I understand that there will be no bids closed or open during the "New Year's Freeze". But will we still be able to bid on players already open?

It's amazing how guys can fall off the radar in this auction.

I was looking to go bid on Cal Ripken Jr. Didn't even know he'd been won already.
