[quote:d0480f75ea="Jablowmi"]In the rule summary, it states that secondary teams can be kept for a single season, but then later says that they can be kept for an additional season. Has this been clarified? Can we keep our secondary teams for the entire time?

Sykes - NJ - 057 (NY YANKEES)
Hak - CT - 332
Sean - NH - 354
Runnin' Rebel - CA - 5 0 8
BJS - Indiana (Go Irish!) - 5 5 2
BC - Ontario - 5 7 8
Crossingroads - KENTUCKY (GO CATS) - 6 9 2
YF - Wisconsin - 711
BigAlric - Delaware - 825
Jsamia - Pennsylvania - 906
Jablowmi - FL - 9 0 8
Albert - New York - 913

Really was not that hard for me at all. I thought about Detroit and Oakland as other primary squads. Hard to pass on Winfield, Randolph and Mattingly most of the way. I know LA will also be a popular pick, but not for me. Padres have one of the teams with the LEAST amount of players available for 1981. Should be fun to see what crap I am left with at the end.

So the Yankees were the #1 team on my list, I need a little more time to finish my evaluation. I am considering the 7th pick, would also posiibly be interested in something closer to 4th, but I will check back in.

Further to Albert's question. I would hope someone wouldn't pick CAL and SEA as their teams (they're the only one's without C's for '81). But if you were short you'd have to try to acquire catchers from the unclaimed teams and/or trade for 1 or 2.

I'm proposing a penalty for not putting a valid roster together:
- you must use unclaimed .75 players to fill the spot(s)
- you forego your secondary team for next season
- your draft spot moves down one slot for every invalid player on your roster.

Just thought it should be severe to ensure teams avoid this situation.

Albert, you better claim Seattle early, as they're going quick.

If we end up with an 'epidemic' problem of some kind in 81, such as a lack of relief pitchers, I have some ideas how to deal with it. But I don't think that should happen.
