With the completion of the live portion of the draft, here are the mechanics for the automatic portion of the draft.

We will begin loading the teams by division-east, central and west. This will ensure that the league is consistent with the league placement that was decided by the first lotto drawing.

We will use a password protected league. Seanreflex will start-once he’s done choosing his team and starting the league, he will send the password to the remainder of the Eastern division. When the last team in the east submits their selections, please alert the 4 central division teams via posting a message at this message board. When the last central division team submits their selection, please alert the West they can load their selections. If we could have the league loaded by Wednesday night, that will give us a few days to tweak the teams prior to the start of league play on Monday the 3rd.

PLACEMENT OF 4 DRAFTED PLAYERS ON YOUR REQUEST LIST

It is in your best interest to place the 4 players you drafted as the LAST four entries on your draft list. This will ensure that you get the players you drafted and have a chance to autodraft the players of your choice. As a reminder, the team that drafted a player is guaranteed that player. Please recheck the draft list to ensure you don’t mistakenly place a drafted player on your request list. I’ll post a list of drafted players shortly. If you inadvertently place a drafted player, you will need to release him. If you believe one of your players has been placed on another team, please contact the appropriate owner so the player can be released.

The "Fenway Well Used Parts" are the first team in the east. I'd like thank GMAC94 for stealing Carlton Fisk. The Fenway team had a deal negotiated with Fisk and his agent. Unfortunately, the contract was mailed, and it was not postmarked in time, thus paving the way for him to bolt to an eastern division rival.
