By the way, earlier I mentioned division assignments would be by the value allocated in the first round of bids. (I said those who spent the most would be EAST, next 4 highest the CENTRAL and least the WEST). The results look like this then;

Woohoo! I'm happy with the 2nd round of bids, at least hitting-wise. Picked up Schmidt, Will Clark, Reggie Jackson. We'll see how my Juan Beniquez/Milt Thompson platoon in CF goes, and I still only have 5 starting pitchers :shock: .

I didn't really want Blyleven, I just didn't want you to have him. In fact, just to prove it, I think I'll trade him away. :wink:

Anyway, considering you got Schmidt, Clark, Jackson and Saberhagen, I don't think you have to worry too much about missing Blyleven.

One edit will be in the final round 2 version. I have to take Gruber away from bjs as that bid didn't quite make the 80%.

Any trades/transactions need to be advised by Tuesday (24 hrs before the round 3 deadline).

If we can get everyones bids in and we can wrap things up by round 4 we still might get a next week start.

Yellow Dog has today acquired E. King from Canauscot for 4.503M
King immediately becomes a number 2 man on a thin Yellow Dog starting rotation which is expected to grow prior to the season commencing. Canauscot is expected to use the cash to bolster an anaemic batting lineup.
