March Madness Round 3 - Bracket 2 - REVISED LEAGUE

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

Well, I'm optimistic I may make the finals and I'm amazingly only one game out of the wildcard. Getting contributiions from retreads like D Boston(.315 w/4 HR 59 AB's), Wilfong & S Rogers(8-4). I figured any pitcher could have a tough time in the brutal Central division. Pat Putnam has 8HR and 26 RBI in 104 AB's. Putnam, Wilfong & Boston actually hit my only three HR's in my last series vs the Homers.

With Bigdinkent and Moodywoody already assured themselves a playoff slot, the final fight is between Rigged Splits and Semper for the Central crown. The Wild Card race is still wide open

If the season ended with last night's games, here is who moves on to the next and final round:

Bigdinkent 94
Moodywoody 89
Rigged Splits 82
Semper 82
Durantjerry 79
BJS73 78

I can't ever recall turning over these many players and still be competitive in an extreme park such as the Kingdome.

HAL really wanted this team to plop, plop, and fiz!

For another competitive season

Sorry to see it end for some and we'll probably match up again soon.

Who said HAL liked the Wild Card team?

Seemed to change his mind last night as he gifted a triple play and a few errors tossed into the mix after having a rather clean fielding season.

Low scoring, pitchers duel plays right into my teams strength at KC. We'll see what happens when we take a trip to your HR palace. ...And yes, that was only mud on Clemens hand.

Like my past seasons, I'll lead or dominate the regular season record between the playoff match-ups and then drop the playoff series.

Haven't seen a triple play and that many errors in one series by one team.

We'll see how the bats swing in the Kingdome - I doubt the outcome will be much different.

Over?

Well, if that's your pregame pep talk you may not have enough players to field. Try the "Germans bombing Pearl Harbor" speech instead.
