JMC, I was more worried the players were going to retire..... :twisted:

Everyone, thanks for your patience and for sticking with the league. The payoff will be 3 races where everyone is within 3 games of the top. 8-)

That will work as long as my crew lands a spot in the playoffs and then goes on a 7 game winning streak :D

It has been so long I can hardy remember who I took! :D :D

I think I had Larry Christensen #1....

I had Marichal too, but wont be getting him! LOL. Probably will get some ratty AL pitcher in his place and have to cut him! :lol:

I also had an AL team. I can't remember my picks but the only overlapping pick is Carty and I think I put him higher than 8. I picked Julio Cruz pretty high.

I remember Stone and Bailor as NL players, but maybe I'm misremembering Stone as a Cubs broadcaster.

Stoney was with the White Sox and then the Orioles although he came up with the Giants and hurled for the Cubs too. Bob Bailor was part of the fabled Blue Jays in their inaugral season-it was downhill from there.

I'm in the market now for a DH-my backup plan of Otto Velez is gone too so it's back to the drawing board.......
