I like that idea voovits. Reminder: I will be out of town next week Tue-Thur and most likely will not have access to a computer during that time. It is possible that I luck out and the hotel has a computer for guests in the lobby but most are getting away from that now. I am available all day Mon and will be back to normal beginining early Fri AM.

Geesh Randy, you are going someplace where you won't have time or access to the net? Are you and Cher getting together to try to rekindle the old flame?

why not start the draft for the 70's and 80's studs now

I say you do one random draw for the 70's and then do the reverse for the 80's... if you get pick 1 in the 70's you get pick 12 in the 80's.

But no reason not to start it while we finish off the live draft.

I like voovits idea and could start the draft as soon as everyone is ready.

Hey LMBombers - in nyc it was only 50 cents a minute for computer time.

OK, asking for a randomizer run now. I think we'll do 1 draft, 2 rounds where you can pick either your 70's or 80's stud in whichever round you want.

Randomizer will be done based on the original order (note: this is not the draft order)
1. Voovits - NO DH
2. LMBombers - DH
3. jayhawk81 - DH 70's/ DH in the 80's - WAIT
4. durantjerry-DH/Same
5. pwootten - No DH
6. cshannajr no DH
7. chasenally - no opinion
8. Jimmy C - No DH
9. ggrover15 - no dh
10. YountFan - DH
11. seanreflex - DH
12. jsam9801 - DH

If we use the draft order we have been using that would mean that someone would get their first pick of the players we are drafting now AND first pick of the studs in either game. The reverse of that is true as well. The same person would get the 12th pick of each group. Since the entire group of elligible players is different I think a brand new draft order should be as well. If you end up about the same in the draft order as before so be it. At least you had the opportunity to move up (or down) with this new group of players to draft.

Jimmy, I know you had the #1 pick, and I'm sorry to upset you, but a new random order is necessary, please don't be upset at losing your #1 pick.

So anyway, for authenticity refer to http://forums.sportingnews.com/viewtopic.php?p=4596355#4596355 for the post regarding the draft order

The order posted was:
5, 2, 3, 12, 4, 8, 11, 1, 7, 9, 6, 10

That makes the draft order:
1. Jimmy C
2. LMBombers
3. jayhawk81
4. pwootten
5. Voovits
6. seanreflex
7. ggrover15
8. cshannajr
9. YountFan
10. jsam9801
11. chasenally
12. durantjerry

So that's the order. Again, I'm sorry that we had to reorder the picks Jimmy, I don't blame you for being upset at losing your #1 pi... oh...

You may begin drafting whenever you want.

Not upset at all. The serpentine draft is totally fair no matter where you draft. And...Damn...I'm first again?
