Did I pick Ripken too soon with my second pick of the draft?
This is the first pick from the SS group since.

Ripken was pretty high on my list too. He was easily the best SS in the D group. The good Valentin is more of a 3B. So, I would have expected a big gap between Ripken and the next SS off the Board.
