1980's Beer and Peanuts League #1

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

Postby CHADGUMM » Sat Oct 08, 2005 10:58 pm

Welcome everyone. Glad all of you signed up.

Okay, a few things. We can use the Pick 3's tonight since a lot of states don't run a lottery on Sunday, I'd rather not wait till Monday night and picking stadiums on Tuesday. I always go low to high, so the lowest number get's the first pick. I'll probably check it later tonight or tomorrow morning, but if anyone else wants to post the pick 3's, feel free.

The leagues run one right after the other (as soon as the playoffs end), then we'll start entering our teams into the next league. While the playoffs run, people can choose whether they want to keep their stadium or pick a new one that isn't already being used. Like I said above, it's first come first serve in picking a new stadium as soon as the last regular season games have run.

And yes, it's $80M and a DH, but I don't think that's an option in the '80's game.

I, for one, wouldn't take the Murph from you. The vengeance would be swift and terrible. :D

Plus, I have no clue how to play there.

You can say that again. I learned my lesson the hard way in the double draft league. I think I started out 4 and 20 or some damn thing. (This was after Sykes cursed me in the live draft for choosing the Murph.) I begged for mercy in mid-season and I came back and finished with a very respectable 84-78.
