Congratulations to our League Champion--Avenue A!

Postby coyote303 » Sat May 15, 2010 11:41 pm

Avenue A was a juggernaut during the regular season, outscoring their opponents better than a run a game on route to a 98-game win season. The team they defeated in the championship series, the White Mountains, was another super team having won 101 games.

Congratulations to franky35's Avenue A!

Note: Once the draft is complete, I will announce here when to load your team, and I will send out PMs with the password. If anyone prefers email to a PM, send me a PM with your email address. (I don't recommend posting your email address on this or any forum.)

salary cap

Postby scooter » Sun May 16, 2010 6:03 pm

What's the salary cap?
I assume that if I accidetally get someone else's player I have to drop him right away.
So there's no need to draft any of my four players.
The game will still require me to draft two catchers.
Game play should start next Monday.

The salary cap is $80 million. DH = yes. 5/10/20 drop. Waivers. Advanced.

[b:855883dbe6]You do draft your players, but list them last on your draft card.* [/b:855883dbe6]Be careful not to draft any protected players, but if you accidentally do, you must accept any legal trade from the owning manager for them. (This happened twice last preseason but was quickly resolved by trades.) I recommend printing the protected list so you have it for reference when creating your draft list. There are at least a couple of low-salaried players on the list (Wockenfuss and Julio Cruz come to mind).

We are waiting for the last supplemental pick, and then I will create the league. I send the password out via PM on as as needed basis. This avoids someone accidentally entering the wrong division. I will create the league and drop out as soon as someone else joins (since I'm not in the East this season).

Feel free to ask any questions either here or via PM.

Coyote

*Failure to draft your players will turn them into free agents, so be sure to list them!!

Can someone in the first division create the league and send out the passwrod? Would love to get it filled by Tuesday so that we could have a Thurday waiver draft.

Keepers 7 League has been created. Password is going out via PM to the East. If frankys last player is on your autodraft roster, simply back out of the East, change your pick, and pop back in.

Thanks for taking the lead on this; I was playing softball. However, the league should be advanced level. Do you mind redoing it Jimmy, or you can email SOM support to change it as well.
