Paul, that's pretty obvious. With Howe at second, Ron Jackson at third, Harrah at short, Armas in center, Steve Hendu in left and Kranepool in right, I'm putting together a team of Gold Glovers!

I've focused on trying to find the worst relative value, using all of the $ available to limit the poor sucker who gets this team from improving through the supplemental draft. Tried to limit the manager's flexibility, especially pitching. When done, this team will have a full pitching staff, if you can call it that.

Strategy: it's been the exact opposite of my 1970s Steelers 'best available athlete' approach. I am trying to select the [u:d5aafc1559]worst value on the board[/u:d5aafc1559] at that moment. I am trying to put together a team and not JAM any GM up by selecting a lot of dead $ at any particular position. To me that wasn't the spirit of this league. Whoever gets my team will likely have to spend $ on a SS (there are so many good ones in the 70s, Ha).
