Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

proxies

i think it,s obvious that we,re not picking any all-star teams for this season so why not go ahead and set up about 15 - 20 proxies to keep the draft moving along.......
it just seems we move along for 10-15 picks and hit a wall until the next day....6 days and 7 rounds is a tad slow for this (81) season at least. but maybe we will get the draft done and load our teams by next friday.
that should be our goal........15 proxies set. good night.

This draft has gone awfully slow but it's been a lot of fun. The lack of talent is forcing you to use guys you'd never even consider using. I hope TSN realizes that this is a theme league because when they see my roster they'll probably think I'm violating the Fair Play Policy - "Tanking. You may not intentionally throw games, under any circumstances. "

REMINDER that all 75¢ players are elligible EVERY year. I think the rule is that you can only keep up to two 75¢ hitters and two 75¢ pitchers from one year to the next though.

I think 85-77 could be a championship year here.
This is really a hoot, we're so used to drafting 1-9 studs or lflushing thru to find ucky-year studs and expecting to compete all-star team to all-star team. This is almost more like....real baseball! Yeah, I might really have to live all year with a 4e30 shortstop batting .214! Or deal with a staff ace on a bad year. This is kinda like the 1969 league I'm also playing right now, you have to deal with having some stiffs on the roster.

sorry guys, when I left for work in the AM There were still 17 picks or so until I drafted - I didn't think I would have to pick until I came home from work. sorry for delaying the process, I will make sure to have plenty of proxies ready to go in the AM....
