Postby Billings Ballers » Mon Oct 09, 2006 1:07 pm

The Montana Glaciers will be ready to load when divisions are set

10 reasons to name my team the Montana Glaciers

A It will be a cold day in hell when they win (usually the case with my teams)

B Glaciers are slow moving but relentless (usually the case with my teams)

C Always heading downhill (usually the case with my teams)

D There is always a crack found (usually the case with my teams)

E In a decade you can't even tell if it made an impact (usually the case with my teams)

F If you've been to a glacier you'll know the wind blows (usually the case with my teams)

G Once they reach the bottom, they never go back to the top

I can only think of 7 Feel free to add

H It's really cold and nobody's ever there (your choice of Olympic stadium)

I They'd rather be skiing (too bad you can't draft Lonborg).

(That's only 9, somebody finish it off).

This is lots easier than trying to come up with a team name that goes with "Connecticut". Yuk. Stepford Wives?? Fighting Foxwoods Croupiers?? Won't be Huskies, my basketball loyalties lie elsewhere.

What is the rule about team names and locations?

Heck, what are the rules for this league in general? In looking back over this thread lots of things were talked about. Now what rules are we going to use?

Should we start a new thread in the Individual League Chat forum and leave this cluttered thread to die?

YES!

Let's get a different thread going. The rules posted last time will be fine. Two keeper .75 players, and .75 pitchers. There will be no free agency, since there's enough player movemnet already.

[quote:04402bdaca="honestiago"]Just pick up extra (eligible) players during the FA (non-waiver) phase, or after the season starts. I know I plan to. :D[/quote:04402bdaca]

I've pulled the plug on this thread. This thread is sinking. Grab anything useful and bring it over to the HONESTIAGO'S 80S DECADE LEAGUE thread in the Individual League Chat forum.

The division alignment lotto results will be posted on this new thread tomorrow morning.

Rutkap & YellowDog still need to pick to finish up the draft. We can start loading tomorrow if these last picks get done.
