MARCH MADNESS - ROUND 3 [BRACKETS POSTED]

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

Round 1 has 3 teams fighting it out for the last 2 spots to advance. 3 games seperate the 3rd team from the 2nd. We may be able to mathematically eliminate somebody before the week is up if desperate.

Actually, as I see it, Semper will definitely be the 23rd seed going into the second round and, therefore, can create the bracket (Bracket 2, Round 3, March Madness) whenever he'd like. Luckily, the 23rd seed falls into the East.

And, now, my analysis....right now, Semper is the 2nd highest seed presently remaining:

PanzerAce (3)
BJS (5)
Jablowmi (6)
Jimmy C (10)
Moodywoody (11)
nycalderon (12) CHAMP/BRACKET 4/ROUND 1
ccangerame (13)
Tgmfp (17)
BC Manager (25)
uglyjerry (27)
durantjerry (28 )
Rigged Splits (29)
Jack377 (32)
Leo/Loop (34)
Sempergumby USMC (43)
hechojazz (46)

The only seed higher than 43 in the remaining/open bracket (bracket 1) is Scotalex, who is the manager of the Gashouse Gang, which is mathematically out. Note that hechojazz will be the 24th seed in round 3 and can start bracket 1 whenever he'd like (Bracket 1, Round 3, March Madness).

Here are the East Brackets for Round 3:

BRACKET 1

E
1
12
13
24 - hechojazz

BRACKET 2

E
2
11
14
23 - Sempergumby

Start 'em up and don't forget to send me the passwords!

I just created Bracket 1, Round 3, March Madness, as instructed by the benevolent pooh-bah Jablomi. PW was sent to JB via PM, and I'm OK with the autodraft list I cobbled together on the QT...looks like I'll be roadkill for PanzerAce nonetheless...

Bracket #2 Pool Open

Postby Semper Gumby » Wed Aug 16, 2006 7:15 pm

The water is very warm as I already pee'd in the shallow end of the pool.

I think someone else has been swimming before me because I can see a Snickers Bar floating near the deep end.

Unless I missed something in the igame nstructions, I selected [b:b925dfc550]WEIGHTED WAIVERS[/b:b925dfc550] for this league. :!: :!: :!:

I will send Jab's the password for this league in case something happens -

I thought waivers was 'standard'. I think the brackets used different waivers in the second round. Which are we using?

The waiver method needs to be consistent between brackets. I dont care which method ( although standard makes more sense given we started with that method), as long as both brackets use it

I wish I was still in....
So I'm throwing the weight of the mighty Air Force directly behind the Marines, no interservice bickering here!
Good luck to the remaining 24.
