I'm ready to go...but seeing that I was the last to join, that's probably not surprising!

honest mentioned above that he was going to wait until the 23rd (personally, I'd rather not add another team until then either).

Don't need to start the league. But if the last theme like this was the norm it took several days to conduct the team draft and then several days to check out the players avalable from each team that you may want to use. Having said that I'm ready but can wait till the 23rd

How bout them STEELERS

Just got back

Postby honestiago1 » Sun Jan 15, 2006 7:42 pm

Sorry, been out of town a few days.

We should probably make sure everyone on the list is game. But what the hell. Let's just use the next pick 3's, get the order, and all. I'm looking forward to trying it again, after the disappointment of getting so close with my last team.

(BTW, my DET Giants hit 294 taters, had a very good 1.36 WHIP in Tiger, and still finished 6 games out. DEFENSE! Had it up the middle, and NOWHERE else. Also had NO ARMS in the OF. I take back my second thoughts I had on drafting defense heavy teams -- this last team clubbed the ball, but you gotta get 900 runs to win that way, and we only got 810. I'd rather have a team that can score about 760 and win by stopping the other guy).

I agree that we should get the rotation settled. I'd rather spend time tryin to identify a team to pick and ultimately players to pick than waiting............Once we get rotation and team picks done, I have no problem waiting until the 23rd to actually start the league.

This is my 3rd league and I have to stay..........I'm itching to get going.

Lets Use Monday Night's Picks

Postby YountFan » Mon Jan 16, 2006 7:51 am

Too many states don't pick on Sunday (ID, OH, KY etc). We can use tonight's picks (Jan-16)
