I have never participated in a live draft before. How long do you anticipate the live draft would take. My 2 80's leagues are scheduled to end in 1 month (3/27 to be exact) so if you anticipate the draft to take that long I'll likely sign up.

Even if the league filled up today and we started drafting tomorrow it would be two weeks at least before opening day. I would predict it would be more likely three weeks. The draft moves as fast as the slowest person makes their picks. You might get through one round per day or as few as 1 or 2 picks which is aggrivating but does happen. Therefore it is hard to predict how long it might take.

Proxies are working again on somdraft.com. We'd just have to eliminate all players except the players listed by echo22 at the top of this thread. That could take a little while but, if proxies are indeed working, Major Deegan's site would be more efficient than it was during the tourney drafts.

Do I volunteer to set this up once we're filled? Well... not while I'm at work. :) But I could help eliminate players later.

I'm gonna be out of town Friday morning-Sunday afternoon and unavailable for obsessive computer access. So, if we fill, can we start the draft after the weekend?

I think we better stick with drafting on these boards for the draft rather than somdraft.com. We can draft here or start a new thread in the Individual League Chat for the draft.
