[quote:dba44c0771="nycalderon"]mine were:

ARMAS
DORAN
SWAN
PARRISH
GAMBLE

a lot of similar thinking here huh....[/quote:dba44c0771]

That's why this is such a fun draft/cool idea. My first thought, obviously shared by others, was to fill in my card using eligible guys I like in a "regular" draft (Gamble and LoSmith are Jablowmi staples) and then fill in with the tough positions with guys like Armas and Smalley (another Jablowmi favorite who will unfortunately not be on the roster this year!).

I figured a lot of guys would go for Willie Randolph at 2B.

I avoided Randolph for the same reason. I also thought I could snake in and get Smalley with my 6th pick, but.......

I believe I went Randolph, Kingman (praying for '79) and Gamble, I think. Can't remember the 3rd guy but I know I had many of the same suspects, Smalley, Swan, etc.

I was hoping to platoon Kingman with Jason Thompson but it doesn't look like I will get Kong. I have never used him before and it looks like I can continue to say that!

Please post the team drafts from this, I wanted to do this league, I didn't expect it to fill so fast and waited one day.

I figured that everyone that has a value between 3-4 million would get selected very early. i would have tried to list as many players that fell into that category as I could squeeze onto the roster.

Armas
Harrah
Hargrove
Jody Davis
and I think Luzinski or Aikens

I think that this league is going to be a blast, I definitely think that you will see some strange numbers.

Similar Leagues

Postby Jablowmi » Mon Mar 27, 2006 4:27 pm

For those interested, we've done similar leagues in the past:

Here is my team in the under $4M offense league. You could play at any stadium and could have a single offensive player over $4M, but couldn't drop him. There was no limit on pitching.

Here is my team in the under $4M pitching league. Same rules, but reversed.

Like many of my teams, both lost in the semis........
