Jimmy C, I think the Whiz Kid's in the 70's league is the best looking team in our division.

His team looks really good from here. Of course...they all look good until that first pitch gets thrown.

I've just got a really good feeling about my boys. :D

The Crackheads feel they have a good pitching team in the 70's league.

Just a reminder --- if players aren't on this list and they cost more than $2.5 million ($3 million for pitchers in the 80's), they shouldn't be on anyone's team. Maybe I missed a message, but Chase, you should drop Burroughs and pick up Clemente, who was your 70's stud pick, right?

Thanks,

I'm guessing he exercised his right to drop his stud at any time.

Any thoughts on who built the toughest 80's team? It's a real mixed bag, but I like Pauls team (Murray, Sandberg, Oglivie, Dawson, Singelton) but he needs a lot of luck with his starters like most of us.

I thought it was nice of Sean to grab Eric Davis as his stud, so Freddie Lynn won't be lonely on the DL... :D

Yes, the 1 stud player could be released at any time. He is not stuck on your roster.

Don't laugh, Jimmy. That's EXACTLY why I picked ED --- so that hopefully only ONE of my star CF's at a time will be on the disabled list!

Chase, sorry about the confusion on the stud. I forgot that we could drop our stud player; however, I thought based on the rules that if we drop our stud, we cannot pick up another stud; I thought if we dropped our stud, we would have to fill the spot with a <$2.5 million player. Otherwise, what was the point of the draft for the studs? I thought the 24 players on that draft list were the ONLY players worth more than $2.5 million that were allowed in this league.

Did I misinterpret this? Otherwise, we could just rotate our studs off our team for another high price player if the one we picked doesn't pan out.

thanks,
seanreflex
