I've noticed quite a few self-inflicted losses by pitchers via errors / balks / wild pitches. Oddly, these tend to be fatal more so than the misplayed fly ball.
I hope Bernie inputs the X-Factor stats into the 80s version. We'll finally see how much defense is really worth.
