Rice actually had 247 AB's in 88 which would move his career numbers up a little. But still a forgettable final season for him.

First year of the 90's passed without any hitter breaking into the single season HR list.

Well Maddux and Gwynn certainly got the big figures, we had interesting seasons for Bass, Samuel, Phillips, Aguilera and Howell and of course Eck was Eck.
