I'm not sure T Rich is still with us. We had to replace him in the Epic league and my guess was we'd have to do the same here.

I would be nice to know. I guess we should make a short list of replacements, but I did pm TRich a few days ago. Maybe crossingroads, would join. He is an active player.

Hmm.....did T-Rich's team make it to the Finals with an absentee manager? It looks like he went with the same 4 SPs all year long....and went with the same 9 regulars as well. I don't remember him making any moves during the year....certainly not any trades.

Wow, that would be pretty crazy if that's the case. Reminds me of that movie Stripes w/ Bill Murray. Maybe T-Rich was the Beulah's Big Toe :P

Perhaps further proof....

Postby albert2b » Wed Jul 05, 2006 1:24 pm

...that the Beulah's were on auto-pilot all year:

Their lineups vs righties AND lefties are exactly the same on Opening Day as it was in their final playoff game before an injury to Schmidt scrambled both lineups a bit.

Man, this is getting interesting. If T-Rich really didn't manage this team, this has got to be one of the more amazing things I've seen since playing this game.

Even if you did, YF, there would be no shame in that. That team beat a lot of teams this year!

I'm just amazed at how many good individual seasons they got. Imagine if T-Rich was around to manage them!

Too funny. Now I know what I've been doing wrong in this league. Actually making transactions during the season!!!

Seriously, in my Beer & Peanuts league we had to replace T Rich 2 months ago (plus he didn't respond to any of my inquiries). T. Rich appears to have disappeared and I based on having to replace him already in a few leagues, I don't think it's unreasonable to move on and find a replacement for him right away. I forgot that he was in this league as well, otherwise I would have gave some forewarning.

Crossingroads contacted

Postby YountFan » Wed Jul 05, 2006 3:45 pm

I took the step and contacted CR about joining. You guys know he is a good manager and active to boot! Taking over the 2nd place team is a nice place to start too.
