I think there were 72 last year and the Tournament filled faster. It's kind of like a Spinal Tap tour: Is the appeal of the band becoming more selective or what??? I say let's go with 48 and play ball!! :D

No, I think it is because I am the Dark Horse and well, teams don't want to face a keg of dynamite.

If we get 48 managers for 4 leagues I think we did pretty good considering how bad the economy is...

I've posted an advertisement in all my leagues about this tourney. If everyone does the same maybe we can get 5 more managers and get this thing rolling.

In the mean-time...if you've already signed up, make sure you check this post every now and then for Jablowmis next instructions.

I think it would be a good thing to have a couple of alternates since there have been a few brand new players sign up here. You never know if they will actually show up or not.

let's see what happens this week and we'll make a call. i think it is unlikely we'll get beyond 4 leagues, particularly with bernie blowing off my call to advertise in all leagues. i'll try again tomorrow.....
