Well...I went crazy this morning and dropped a struggling Dave Parker for...YIKES...the seemingly avoid-at-all-cost...Dusty Baker!!

Those of us in the East are happy to be taking a short breather from the weeklong pounding we've ALL been taking in standings. Sheesh! The staff ERA went from 2nd to 11th (briefly) like, well, a Titan missile! As the team batting descended into hell. When oh when are those lefty bats going to start hitting all the right handed pitching I'm seeing???

Just wondering if anyone noticed Kev's team is on an
11-0[/size:1a257c0a21]
winning streak?[/size:1a257c0a21]

If that doesn't put the Malooky on them I don't know what will...

(Nice run Kev)

"At Comiskey Park the streaking Elsinore Brewers6 registered 4 runs in the 14th inning and easily handled the New York Stratzillas 24 in 14 innings by the score of 7 to 3."

Nothing like easily winning a 14 inning game for your 11th consecutive win.

Too bad the computer column writer doesn't have the random "pounded the cr*p out of... phrase included it certainly would've gotten a lot of use from KM's team so far. Nice score on the Rickey card I traded you. :?

Some things never change...

He is overpriced in strat-o and he was overpriced as a Cubs manager. Sayonara Krusty Baker. Go back to the Giants and network with Balco Bonds.

Hey Jimmy C, I'm sorry I gambled on baseball

Just buy my autograph, I gotta great tip on the ponies!

So did you get the crappy splits on Rose like I did? despite the .313 overall he was hitting .200 vs RHP. I bailed. (If you'd asked, I woulda told). Of course, 3 DHs later, I'm STILL looking to get someone's 4th best year or better!!
HoJo-crap
Darrell Evans -crap
Rose -sneaky good stats, but probably crap
Simmons -crap
Thompson -crap
& I'm sure I'm leaving someone out.
I"m trying Al Davis now. First series was actually pretty good.

Near last in the league in hitting & I can't even find a DH that can hit?

Yeah...Rose was made out of cardboard!! I probably should have picked up a real 2nd baseman about 50 games ago, so I'll give Gantner a test drive...
